There are a couple types of pitless adapters that will not allow a hand pump to be installed. You will need to remove the cap in order to verify. One will not allow the well cap to be installed correctly and the other does not provide the necessary clearance. If you have either of the two types of pitless adapters shown, you will need to change to a different type of pitless adapter in order to install a hand pump. Make sure to verify this before ordering, once the system is shipped standard return policy applies.
